The government have identified the digital skills required for the modern workplace, the frameworks sets out 5 categories of essential digital skills for life and work:

• communicating.

• handling information and content

• transacting

• problem solving

• being safe and legal online

They have put together a range of free courses to help all adults develop and strive. 

One such course is Digital Skills: Social Media. The course will help you learn how to use social media for business, from creating a social media presence to measuring success.
