1. General Information

The Site is operated by iPET Network Ltd (“iPET Network”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. We are an Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual (England), CCEA Regulation (Northern Ireland), and Qualifications Wales.

2. Purpose of the Site

The Site provides information regarding:

• Regulated qualifications in animal care and veterinary science.

• Guidance for Approved Training Centres and Training Providers.

• Resources for Learners and Apprentices.

• Services as an End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO).

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, qualification specifications, and assessment materials—is the property of iPET Network or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

• You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only.

• Use of the “iPET Network” logo or branding is strictly prohibited unless you are an Approved Centre with a valid written agreement.

4. Use of the Web-Portal and E-Portfolio

Access to certain areas of the Site (such as the Web-Portal or E-Portfolio system) is restricted to registered users.

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• Prohibited Use: You must not use the portal to upload malicious code, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to bypass security measures.

5. Approved Training Centres

Training Providers seeking to become “Approved Centres” must undergo a formal approval process.

• Approval is subject to separate Centre Agreements and compliance with iPET Network’s Quality Assurance (QA) standards.

• iPET Network reserves the right to withdraw Centre approval if the provider fails to meet Ofqual/regulatory requirements or breaches our Malpractice and Maladministration policies.

6. Qualification & Certification

While we strive for accuracy, the information on this Site regarding qualification levels (Levels 2–5) and Guided Learning Hours (GLH) is for guidance.

• Final certification is subject to the successful completion of all assessments and External Quality Assurance (EQA) auditing.

• We reserve the right to withdraw or amend qualifications in line with regulatory changes.

7. Fees and Payments

Fees for Centre Approval, Learner Registration, and Certification are outlined in our Centre Fees document.

• All fees are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

• We reserve the right to update fees periodically; however, existing learners are typically protected under “Reasonable Notice” for qualification withdrawal.

8. Limitation of Liability

iPET Network provides the Site on an “as is” basis. While we aim to maintain high standards, we do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

• We are not liable for any losses arising from the use of third-party Training Providers found through our Site.

• We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked to or from this Site.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As an Awarding Organisation, we process personal data for the purpose of learner registration, assessment, and certification in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Complaints and Appeals

If you are a Learner or a Centre with a dispute regarding an assessment or service, you must follow the formal iPET Network Enquiries and Appeals Policy, available in the “Useful Downloads” section of the Site.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
