iPET Network Level 3 Award in an Introduction to Cat Grooming – Qualification Number 610/7500/0 (link to qualification on Ofqual register)
The iPET Network Level 3 Award in an Introduction to Cat Grooming is aimed at Learners who wish to gain the skills and knowledge of foundational preparation and grooming skills. This qualification focuses on core techniques such as brushing, bathing, and general coat care for a variety of cat breeds, while building a sound understanding of feline welfare, health, and handling. Learners will also explore best practice health and safety standards within a grooming environment.
This qualification is designed to be flexible to meet the real-life needs and circumstances of Learners.
The qualification is a balance of theoretical and practical learning to ensure that vocational skills lead the qualification, with underpinned knowledge developed throughout.

3011: Principles of Health and Safety in Cat Grooming
3014: Principles of Cat Grooming Preparation
3016: Prepare and Groom Cats
