The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Cat Grooming and Salon Management is suitable both for those who are new to the cat grooming industry and for experienced cat groomers seeking to formalise their skills through a regulated qualification. It is relevant for individuals aiming to start their own cat grooming business as well as those looking to secure employment in an established salon.
Learners will gain the skills and knowledge needed to prepare, style and finish a range of cat breeds. Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of feline welfare, health and handling, alongside best practice principles of health and safety in a professional cat grooming environment. The qualification also covers essential business management and skills and knowledge in feline emergency first aid, ensuring that Learners are well prepared for the demands of the role of a cat groomer.
This qualification is designed to be flexible to meet the real-life needs and circumstances of Learners.
