The iPET Network Level 4 End-Point Assessment (EPA) for Animal Training Instructor is the final assessment for Apprentices completing the Level 4 Animal Training Instructor Standard. This assessment is designed to evaluate that Apprentices have developed the knowledge, skills, and behaviours and achieved a high level of professional competence, technical knowledge, and leadership capability within the animal training sector.
It assesses the apprentice’s ability to design, deliver, and evaluate structured training programmes, apply advanced training techniques ethically and effectively, ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and legislative compliance, and communicate confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Successful completion of the End Point Assessment (EPA) demonstrates that the individual can work autonomously, solve complex training and behavioural challenges, and contribute to the development of best practice within professional animal training environments.
