Making sure students receive feedback on how to make that “perfect pooch” is vital and at iPET Network we recognise this. We have developed a Level 3 Award for Educators in the Canine and Feline sector where feedback is linked throughout.
The key steps for feedback are:
• Identify the main qualities of student work
• Motivational language with praise for skills shown
• Promote autonomy and self-assessment
• Review ways to improve and develop wider skills
