This qualification has been approved by the Secretary of State to provide training for the implantation of microchips into dogs under the Animal and Plant Health Agency who are an executive agency for DEFRA.
This qualification covers Microchip technology, scanning and implantation equipment, handling and restraint of animals, pre and post implantation procedures and implantation of a microchip in pet animals.
