New Training Provider
Jackie Simmonds is the founder of Pawsome Paws Training Academy Ltd which was established in 2012. Jackie has a wealth of experience and is a professional Dog Groomer holding a variety of qualifications, such as City & Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming, OCN Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming and Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Like most groomers, Jackie is crazy mad about dogs! Along the qualifications gained, Jackie is also a Pets as Therapy volunteer, along with her two Standard Poodles, Ava & Penny. Jackie is also a registered dog fosterer as well as being a part of a charity called The Animal Team where Jackie carries out home visits/assessments for people wanting to adopt a dog.
Jackie is excited to be joining the iPET Network team to deliver our courses and will provide support and guidance to a maximum of two students attending at a time, this will be conducted in a comfortable and relaxed salon environment and during this time students will have hands on experience from day one! Jackie has a teaching assistant background from previously working in a High School, so teaching and helping students grow, progress and have the ability to move forward in their new career with absolute confidence is a personal goal for Jackie.
