The iPET Network Level 4 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid in the Workplace is designed to be flexible to meet the real life needs and circumstances of its Candidates. It is aimed at Candidates that can demonstrate their expertise in understanding Canine First Aid in the Workplace. They must demonstrate a high level of knowledge in relation to canine welfare and first aid emergencies and the role of the canine first aid person.
Leading industry experts Rachel Bean and The Canine First Aid Company have reviewed this qualification to ensure the outcome is appropriate for the Canine industry and the continued growth and development of the sector.
The qualification is an excellent balance of theoretical and practical learning to ensure that vocational skills lead the qualification with underpinned knowledge developed throughout.
The qualification includes the following units:
401: Roles and Responsibilities of a Canine First Aid Person in the Workplace
402: Canine Health and First Aid Emergencies
This qualification is aimed to lead Candidates into being able to develop established skills in canine first aid and welfare to a superior and professional level.
This qualification is valid for 3 years before requiring a refresher training day.
