Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming (Exclusive to Pets at Home) Overview
The aim of this unit is to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to recognise the different requirements of the dogs under the groomer’s care and how the grooming process needs to be adapted to ensure that their welfare is maintained to a high standard. Factors such as a dog’s age, disease status and body condition as well as specific adaptations for brachycephalic and long-backed breeds, and how these factors impact the groom, will be discussed.
